altSocialvibe has proven the beauty of social media by marketing charities through social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook and Twitter.

The concept of Socialvibe is pretty simple, you sign up for an account, grab a widget or a link, and depending on the influence you have on your friends, you can seek donations for the cause of your choice, at no cost to you

When choosing a cause to dedicate your Socialvibe account to, you are asked to pick a brand sponsor such as Apple, Sprint and Puma...

Socialvibe has had much success and has teamed up with online celebrities on MySpace and YouTube to attract members to register and get involved. Chris Crocker and Mathew Lush are among the dozens of online celebrities to get involved and promote the website by showing public support and urging their fans to sign up by giving away prizes to those who recruit the most vibe users.

Joe Marchese, the founder of Socialvibe says

“The purpose of Socialvibe at the outset was to empower people to take control of advertising. They were going to need to interact with brands, and [Socialvibe allows people] to give back in a way they were passionate about, empowering them to give back to causes they cared about most. “

Along with Socialvibe’s success in recruiting members, there has been a big impact in the charities world. Socialvibe has donated over a million dollars to charity. And its success continues to grow.

The National Coalition applauds Socialvibe, and most importantly, it’s users who have given them the success and huge accomplishments they’ve made.
